“ UPDATE 6/3/2026: Once again, I inadvertently scheduled routine maintenance on my dad’s regular service manager Pat O’Brien’s day off. Nick Munoz assisted me again. Nick, Pat, the crew in the service center are consistently professional, friendly, explain what needs to be done thoroughly, and find the best discounts for my father’s car. I arrived at the scheduled time and was promptly checked in. Their onsite Yokohama tire technician immediately got to work immediately. I didn’t get his name but he was just as customer service focused, clearly explained the condition of the tires, and advised when to replace them. I had planned to pay around $300 for routine maintenance because I forgot to bring the car in for a tune up last year and scheduled the mid-tier service. Nick reviewed what was handled back in 2024 and told me that certain fluids wouldn’t need to be replaced until next year so they did an oil change, performed a multipoint inspection, and Nick checked out coupons to give me a discount. I spent $175 less than anticipated. I think this is one of the best dealership service centers in the Bay Area for Toyota owners! ———— My dad has been a customer of Fremont Toyota’s repair and maintenance team since 1996 and I’ve been bringing his 2006 Camry there for him since he’s older now. He trusts the folks there a great deal. The team is awesome, provide excellent customer service, clearly explain what needs to be done, and the mechanics do a fantastic job of keeping his car running well. They also provide great communication via text, phone and email, especially if there’s an unanticipated issue - photos included. I usually schedule maintenance appointments on their website, which makes logistics easy, and typically selective the level of maintenance I think the car needs. Today, maintenance advisor Nick Munoz saved me over $300 after he saw the package I selected online then reviewed the car’s maintenance history. Also, we usually work with advisor Pat O’Brien but he wasn’t in the shop today. He knows my dad was in the Navy for a long time and has given him a veterans’ discount. I mentioned that to Nick and he honored the discount as well. I didn’t get the name of the advisor who assisted me when I picked up the car but he told me they love vets there. That means a lot to my dad. Great place to bring your Toyota! ”

For the most part the service at this dealership is
“ For the most part the service at this dealership is decent. It’s nice that they accept discounts from other local dealerships, being that their service is better than other dealerships I’ve been to. But, with my recent visit for some reason the workers decided to change that atmosphere from a positive experience to one that’s discouraging, like they’re trying to keep people away. It also seems the employees listen or pay attention to outside sources and follow those individuals rather than the customers requests. For example, on my most recent visit, I specifically asked the service advisor Yvonne to let the mechanics working on my car to not touch the items on the ceiling or anything that is taped to the inside of my car. I also asked if my maintenance req’d light could be reset, and Yvonne said the light would be reset as they were working on my car, but it wasn’t reset. So now I have to go elsewhere to have someone else do it. Additionally, Yvonne said they have no reason to touch the ceiling of my car or anything else, but when I got my car back the paper towel covering the horn part of my steering wheel had been rearranged, moved and an item had been removed from it and the liners holding the towel covering together and in place had been moved, damaged and rearranged. The mechanics or other entities damaged that part of my vehicle when I specifically asked them not to. There were also pins that had been moved from papers they were pinned to, so now it was a dangerous driving situation because I had paper hanging from the ceiling of my car, which is not safe and a distraction. Also, when Yvonne had me double-check my contact information, there was an email address that was attached to my contact info that I had NEVER given the dealership or any of its people. In fact, I had stopped using that email address in 2016, so how this dealership got that email address is beyond me. I updated it with the correct email address to be used and it never made it back onto my work order, very strange. ”

Vehicle was brought in for routine maintenance on 5/21,
“ Vehicle was brought in for routine maintenance on 5/21, which included tire rotation. The passenger side front hub cap was lost in the 6 mile drive home, the most likely explanation for its loss is that it was not properly reinstalled after the rotation. Phone calls and messages were left with the service advisor for the visit, Antonio Vazquez, as well as the Service Director Monte Munoz. Neither has returned our calls. In addition, we were not able to locate the vehicle at pickup and had to return to the service department for further assistance. Antonio eventually found the vehicle parked behind a food truck near the new car showroom, it was far enough away that the alarm on the Fob would not trigger the vehicle's horn. ”
