Since we’re looking at an all-electric vehicle, we’re going to start by revealing this model’s impressive 314-mile driving range5. Several features contribute to the vehicle’s longevity, starting with the e-TNGA Platform that serves as its base. Add to that the 74.7-kWh Lithium-ion battery and either one or two AC synchronous electric motors, for standard FWD or available AWD, respectively, and you’ll have a full idea of this vehicle’s powertrain. The Toyota bZ infuses your rides with 338 net horsepower in the AWD format, allowing you to quickly gather speed as you head down I-880. Restoring the battery power to this compact electric SUV is possible using Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast-Charging capabilities, the last of which can take the vehicle from a flashing Low Battery Light to 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes6.
