With its outstanding energy efficiency, stylish Camry design and affordable pricing, the 2010 Camry Hybrid from Toyota is an all-around amazing sedan, perfect for any driver!
The advanced dual-mode gas-electric hybrid powertrain is one of the most impressive features of the 2010 Camry Hybrid. It produces a consistent fuel economy of 33 city and 34 highway mpg by using a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that works with an electric motor, as well as a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Other equipment that will work to make your ride ultra-smooth and responsive are the independent front and rear suspensions and the electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering.
The exquisite exterior's smooth countours will catch your eye and you'll get great outside features like chrome exhaust tips, dual color-keyed power outside mirrors, daytime running lights and multi-reflector projector beam headlamps. Making driving a breeze, the interior is filled with comforts and conveniences you'll love as well! So slide in and adjust the eight-way power driver's seat to your liking, set your ideal climate with the dual-zone air conditioner and switch on the cruise control - this Camry will give you a ride to remember. There's also conveniences like a 60/40 split folding rear seat for extra cargo room if needed, multiple storage compartments, a tilt steering wheel with audio and climate controls and a multi-informational display.
In typical Toyota fashion, the 2010 Camry Hybrid is loaded with safety features to enhance your confidence and security on the road. Front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, a driver knee airbag, antilock disc brakes and stability control are just a few of the extensive safety features. A Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management System also works hard in adverse weather to enhance your braking, traction and handling systems.

The New 2010 Camry Hybrid is Safe, Fuel Efficient, and Comfortable--What More Could You Ask For? | Base Price: $26,150 |
With its cushy ride, seating for five, excellent fuel efficiency, and affordable price tag, the 2010 Camry Hybrid is the sedan that everyone can smile about. "The 2010 Toyota Camry Hybrid is the rare hybrid that makes both environmental and financial sense," says Edmunds.com in their review. The 2010 Camry Hybrid gets you where you need to go with a dual-mode gas-electric hybrid powertrain. This technology enables you to use only the electric motor at low speeds and while coasting on the highway, which means extra gas-savings for you. The fuel efficiency is 33/34 MPG city/highway. The electric motor also helps out when you accelerate. The heart of this Camry is a 147 horsepower, 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder, aluminum alloy block engine with an aluminum alloy head, and 16-valve Dual Over Head Cam with VVT-i. Power is sent to the wheels via the electronically controlled continuously variable transmission.
Smooth sailing is provided by the more than adequate suspension which includes front independent MacPherson strut suspension with a stabilizer bar, and rear independent dual link suspension with a stabilizer bar. The steering is electric power-assisted rack-and-pinion. The braking system includes an electronically controlled brake system--which means faster brake actuation and shorter stopping distances. The braking system also includes Brake Assist. Brake assist measures the amount of pressure a driver is applying to the brake and supplements it by adding additional pressure if it determines that the driver is trying to make an emergency stop. When the driver eases up on the brake pedal, brake assist eases up as well. Other braking features include ventilated front disc brakes with hydraulic power assist, solid rear disc brakes with hydraulic power assist, a foot pedal parking brake, a standard anti-lock brake system, and an integrated regenerative brake system.
Standard exterior features for the 2010 Camry Hybrid include daytime running lights with off mode, dual color-keyed power outside mirrors, a chrome exhaust tip, variable intermittent wipers, a temporary spare tire/wheel, and multi-reflector projector beam headlamps with an auto on/off feature.
The 2010 Camry Hybrid interior gives you a lot of bang for your buck. Standard features include an eight way power driver's seat, a dual zone climate control air conditioner with a micro-dust and pollen filter and a plasmacluster ionizer, and a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with audio and climate controls. Other niceties include power door locks with an anti-lockout feature, power windows with auto up/down, cruise control, rear center headrests, a smart key system with push button start, a 60/40 split fold-down rear seat, and fabric seat and door trim treated with the Fraichir process. The Fraichir process uses a protein found in silk worm cocoons to treat the fabric making it soft and supple to the touch. The smart key system automatically unlocks the doors and starts the car for you if you have the key in your pocket. You'll also like the multi-informational display, two 12V auxiliary power outlets, lockable illuminated glove box, illuminated entry, and a fold-down rear center armrest with dual cupholders.
The audio system in the new Camry Hybrid features an AM/FM/CD player with satellite radio capability, an auxiliary audio jack, six speakers, MP3/WMA playback capability, and an in-glass antenna.
The 2010 Camry Hybrid also gets praise in the family-friendly category for being safe. In crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration the Camry Hybrid received five out of five stars in all front and side collision categories. Standard safety features on the new Camry Hybrid include driver and front passenger advanced airbags, driver and front passenger seat-mounted side airbags, front and rear seat side curtain airbags, and a driver's knee airbag. Other dynamic safety features include electronic brake-force distribution, vehicle dynamics integrated management, child-protector rear door locks, LATCH tethers on the outboard rear seating positions, a direct tire pressure monitoring system, an engine immobilizer, vehicle stability control, and traction control.
